My 21st Birthday!

I turned 21 on January 30th. My parents threw me a party on Saturday night and Bryce's family threw me a party on Sunday night. I don't have any pictures yet from the party at the Carter's but I'm hoping I can get Becky to email me some soon! Thank you everyone!

We took family pictures right before Derek left. We haven't taken family pictures forever so I'm glad we finally did. My uncle Nelson took them. He did a really good job!

Derek's Gone!

Derek left on his mission Dec. 2nd, just like he was supposed too! All the doctors said that because of his accident there was no way that he would be able to leave the time he was supposed to or that he wouldn't be able to go at all. We all know that there is a reason for him to be going on his mission. I'm excited to find out what it is! We're all so proud of him and miss him a lot. Everyone gets so excited every Monday when we get his e-mails!

Thanksgiving

After we ate, we all went out to the ranch and shot clay pigeons, rode 4-wheelers, and played horse shoes.

This year for Thanksgiving, Bryce and I ate my side of the family because it was Derek's last Thanksgiving before leaving on his mission. The Thatcher's and the Schauer's came and ate with us too.

Halloween

This Halloween Bryce was hunting so I didn't get to dress up, but I got to see Lucy, Jay, and Halle dressed up. They were so cute! I have the cutest neices and nephew!

Bryce, Steven, and Kyle all went hunting this year and they all got deer! This was Kyle's first time hunting and he got one! Bryce and Kyle's bucks were with each other so they each killed one. Bryce said he had never seen the deer like that.

Pumpkin Carving!

For FHE Monday night we carved pumpkins. Last year I missed out on carving pumpkins for some reason, so this year I was REALLY excited! After I got started I tried to figure out why I was so excited. But after I was done I was glad I did it. Bryce had to miss out because he had class. I think he was ok with it though, he didn't seem as excited about it as I was.
